About the project
Shipping LCL cargo from the USA to Ukraine is more than getting goods from point A to point B. It is about precise time slots at every loading site: everything is calculated by the hour, because truck downtime benefits no one — especially when three loads must be collected at different locations in different states in a single day and delivered to a warehouse for loading into containers.
That was exactly the client’s request: arrange the pickups and deliver the equipment from the USA to Ukraine.
How things work in the USA
In the USA all loading and unloading is scheduled in advance: the allotted handling time is 2–3 hours with no overtime waiting. It works differently from what we are used to in Ukraine, so every step requires precise coordination.
What was involved
- One truck across the USA — our proposal to save the client money: hiring a separate truck, even a small one, for each load would have been far more expensive
- A forklift at one of the loading sites — the shipper’s forklift was out of service at the time
- Two sea containers, 40HQ and 20HQ, Houston (Texas) → Gdynia (Poland)
- One truck from Poland to the destination in Ukraine
- Coordination and communication with all parties in the delivery process
Result
The equipment was delivered on time, undamaged and without delays.
We are grateful to all partners involved in delivering this cargo, and especially to the client — for their trust and cooperation.
